Project Information:
The course is associated with a
project. Proposed class projects will be described by the instructor.
Feel free to discuss your ideas with the instructor and propose your
own project. The projects will be outlined in class
and descriptions will be distributed in class. Some background reading
is associated with each project. The relevant technical papers will be
distributed in class.
Admin:
Projects are conducted in groups of
at most 2 students. It's your responsibility to form groups. All groups
should submit a one page proposal by Monday Oct 2.
The proposal should include:
- The problem description
- Your idea and a sketch of your solution
- Proposed plan of your work
A one page project status report is
due on November 13. The summary should include
- Details of your proposed solution
- Revisions of your proposed plan of work (if any)
- Methodology for evaluating your ideas
